In 2007 after one of the games while drinking a few vuvuzela's, the players came up with the idea of helping people less fortunate than us.
Hence the start of our collection of food parcels.
Every month players bring food parcels and at the end of the year we would have a fun day at the Durban Childrens Home and hand over the food and what else we would have collected over the year, (toys, second hand clothing).
The fun day consisted of organising water slides, jumping castles and having games. Meals, sweets, chips and cooldrinks were also provided.
All this was made possible by the players and sponsorships .
Management would like to thank all its players and partners in helping, putting smiles on the childrens faces.
Win 1 Soon has now through Hillary F.C committed its self to helping the Malvern Kinderhuis.
It is thanks to a little girl (Sharde' Wheeler) who brought it to our attention that the home is in need of help.
Also a big big thank you to Michael Bully for his contribution, a cheque of R5000.00
A first delivery of food was delivered on friday 15/05/09.
