Fun Day (20/06/09)
What a day. There was a water slide and a gladiator slide for the kids who had a blast on the slides. Uncle Godfrey when are we going to do this again was the call.
The five a side went well, with all the players playing with good spirit. The A B C team were the winners.
But at the end of the day all of the people who pitched up in my eyes were winners.
Big thanks must go to Trevor Day for arranging a big screen so all could watch the rugby. Great to see the boks winning.
A potjies competition was held, there were 5 pots in the competition, some great food been cooked (who says men can't cook). The winner of the competition was Ivor Ontong and his team.
After supper then the real party pick up. I saw some serious drinking and dancing taking place.
Thanks to Mr Andy Els and his partner for entertaining the crowd with some great music.
Thank you to Sharde for arranging the raffles, she got her gran to bake a big chocolate cake, which was won by Melissa.
